These mugs were made on my pottery wheel, and when leather dry, the handles were pulled from the cups. I then bisqued them to cone 08, glazed the interiors with shino, and some of the exteriors with teadust over shino (the yellow stripes), and fired them in an anagama to cone 10+
Gorgeous! I've always been very fond of Shino.

I love the set, and I loved the description, reading every detail about the creation process. Gorgeous.
Reminiscent of powdery sandstone cliffs and thirsty arroyos.
