Gas Fired Porcelain Platters with Chun Clear Glaze

I made these platters for my senior show in 2010. I threw them on my wheel and added circle of red clay around the center which mostly burned out. When leather hard I trimmed them, then let them dry, bisqued to cone 08, glazed, and then fired them in reduction in a gas kiln to cone 10. The largest plate was about 16 inches wide.
